Another Billionaire Compares Populist Politics To Nazi Germany

Another rich jerk with a persecution complex.  It's not enough to have all the money on the world. They must be worshipped and genuflected to as well.
The billionaire founder of Home Depot just pulled a Tom Perkins.
Ken Langone, a major GOP donor, was among "the denizens of Wall Street and wealthy precincts around the nation" who spoke to Politico for a piece published Tuesday and titled "The rich strike back."“I hope it’s not working,” Langone told Politico, referring to populist political appeals. “Because if you go back to 1933, with different words, this is what Hitler was saying in Germany. You don’t survive as a society if you encourage and thrive on envy or jealousy.
And no eye contact!

As Paul Krugman ably pointed out, jealousy and envy have got nothing to do with it.  There is real and legitimate anger, and rightly so.

Really? Coming from Filthy Rich Hipster land of Carroll gardens which is nothing but an extension of Greenwhich Village. Gee funny how most of the super wealthy that live in NYC are all Democratic supporters who happen to have good estate lawyers to get around paying taxes that they want but don't pay themselves and impose on what is left of the Middleclass. You did nothing but destroy New York City create a further gap between Rich and Poor.

The Liberal Democrats are following in the footsteps of the Nazis. All claim to be tolerant but are intolerant to anyone who thinks different from themselves. The most dangerous voter is the ill informed low functioning voter. The coolaid drinkers. The White Liberals have destroyed this country and city.

Ha. You think I'm rich.

And you're just as well informed about tax policy. Good for you!

"The most dangerous voter is the ill informed low functioning voter."

Wait right there while I get you a mirror.

Sorry but I'm not rich. Nor stupid enough to live in neighborhoods that were nothing but slums 20 years ago. The working class used to live in Carroll gardens Italian's who were pushed out. Poor Hispanics lived In Park Slope land. Go drink your lattes are Starbucks and ride the Citi bikes. I'm at the poverty level. I'm talking about the gentrification of these nabes. Which was for the worse. True New Yorkers are gone can't afford to live here. Have fun when the Muslims take over thanks to Our Islamophile Pres. You can keep your Sandinista loving mayor too! If you haven't noticed it's back to the 70's on public transportation with homeless mental disabled sitting in there own urine and feces. Graffiti is back in swing.
