Another horrible, horrible story. Initial reporting had the suspect vehicle's speed at 60MPH. There is no excuse for that kind of recklessness on a city street. And now it looks like the culprit is a convicted killer who was arrested for a DWI just last month.
The NYPD have released the name of a suspect in the deadly Brooklyn accident that killed a couple and their newborn son.Police are searching for 44-year-old Julio Acevedo in the deadly hit and run.
Acevedo served 10 years in state prison on a 1989 manslaughter conviction. Caused the death of a male victim by shooting him with a gun. He also has a recent driving while intoxicated arrest in February.
A baby boy delivered after his parents were killed in a hit-and-run accident in Williamsburg, Brooklyn died early Monday.
