The White House asked for an additional $30 million to continue the effort, but the House bill provides $27 million for what’s described as an entirely new pilot program focused on rural areas only.Democrats were surprised to see urban children were excluded. And the GOP had some trouble explaining the history itself. But a spokeswoman confirmed that the intent of the bill is a pilot project in “rural areas” only.

No they are not assholes as stated in the typical New York leftwing liberal rant. Why is the tax payer paying for Breakfast, lunch and Dinner is some cases? Don't give me the poor bullsh*t. We have Food stamps, Wic and EBT cards. Oh forgot some parents are bartering them for cigarettes and alcohol. NYC have a large Illegal population from Mexico and China and is growing. Why are we awarding these people for breaking the law? My grandparents came here legally. Bad enough the Communist Regime in City hall is bankrupting are city and he's not in office a whole year yet. But this is what happens when you have 20 something's not knowing anything about what the city was like 30 years before. Along with all the carpetbaggers who are here.
