Nicole Gelinas and Ben Kabak both have some thoughts on the linkages between transit and development. With Gelinas the focus is the proposed Midtown East upzoning; with Kabak, both Midtown East and the proposed Domino Sugar redevelopment.
The common thread is the relatively short shrift the city leadership pays to transit planning, funding, and expansion. This is a topic I'll address in more depth periodically over the year. In the meantime, these two articles are food for thought.
