Daily News Covers Casa Rosa Closing

Thanks to Vicki for noting the Daily News article.
Casa Rosa, a longstanding Carroll Gardens restaurant offering classic southern Italian fare, quietly closed down last week after more than 30 years in business in the brownstone enclave where rents are on the rise. The quaint eatery on the corner of Court and Carroll Sts. opened in 1979, making it one of the oldest red sauce joints in the neighborhood.Owner Louis Catuogno, who took over Casa Rosa in the late 1990s, died in August at the age of 62. Catuogno's daughter Gina Marie, who took the reins after he passed, refused to comment on the restaurants closure.
