One of my big concerns here, as with 360 Smith, was keeping the mature street trees. |
Light at the end of the tunnel. Hard to believe I first started writing about this project in
2007. Of course at the time a big fear was that this was going to be a finger tower. I know a lot of people were not thrilled with this project, but it could have been much worse. After five years of demolition, inaction, then construction, I'm just happy to see the sidewalk shed come down.

This building defied expectation. It is the best case scenario. And for every time we rightly point out developers who ruin neighborhoods, this one stands out as one that deserves high praise.
