John Kerry's Dishonesty

Kerry's statement is so absurd as to be insulting. Past experience shows that Snowden would be jailed, and most likely mistreated, immediately. So much for making his case in public. 

And, given our federal rules of evidence, he would likely be barred from "making his case" in court as well.  John Kerry ought to know better.  A defendant doesn't get to just stand up in a court room and make speeches.

Kerry Tells Snowden to 'Man Up'

"If he cares so much about America and he believes in America, he should trust the American system of justice." "I think he's confused," Kerry added. "I think it's very sad.
