Brooklyn Greenway New Views Party Tonight

I've been busy with the new job these last two months and haven't gotten around to about 100 posts I'd like to have made.  One of them was for the Brooklyn Greenway party tonight.  There's still about three hours to get your tickets.

The always excellent Clarence Eckerson pointed me to this nostalgic video of a very different Brooklyn from 2002.  Before my own time here in the borough.  And with cameo appearance by a young Bill deBlasio!  How far we've all come in 11 years.

Community Board 6 EPPL Agenda for Monday June 24th

Compared to June 3, Monday night will be a light load.  One of our agenda items, however, is located exactly at 1st and Court (site of the defunct Magic Fountain/laundromat and more recently the ill-fated Vinzee's).  So doubly topical for this blog.
